Ultrasonic sealing is one of the most innovative methods for sealing in packaging. Except for a few specialized applications, ultrasonic sealing exhibits only a short time of history in the field of flexible packaging. Because of the diversity of packaging materials there are lots of challenges for the users to resolve. Therefore expert knowledge is essential for stable ultrasonic processes and high quality.
Developments in technology and application as well as scientific work in the last years increased the knowledge and understanding of the ultrasonic sealing process. With this development, the range of application was also expanded within the last years.
The IPI expert seminar offers an introduction into the fundamentals and principle of the ultrasonic sealing technology and also deals with the behavior of the packaging material as well as state of the art of current applications. Participants get a comprehensive overview about the ultrasonic sealing technology and its application.
