Seminar: Novel Packaging Quality Control Technologies

Due to increasing demands on quality and validation of packaging processes quality testing is important. This Seminar provides an overview on novel technologies for off-line and on-line quality testing methods for packaging materials and packages with focus on properties that affect the quality of the packaged good, such as permeability, tightness or oxygen content. Beside already commercially available systems also methods in development are presented by research institutes. This seminar is targeted to employees working in quality management and testing as well as R&D manager for material testing and development working for packaging material producer or food as well as pharma packaging companies.

Christian Florin is founder of flo-ir an engineering company for IR analysis specialized for non-destructive testing.


Prof. Gunther Reinhart is director of the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management at TUM - Technical University of Munich and head of the Fraunhofer IGCV - Fraunhofer Research Institution for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV.
